Lead Automation

Automate lead follow-up so it happens on time

Follow-up is easy to let slip on a busy day. MoveUpMark lets you draw your follow-up as a workflow once, and then runs it for each lead that enters it: the first reply, the reminder, the hand-off to a person, the task for the owner.

How a workflow is built

  1. Pick a trigger

Choose what starts it: a new lead from an ad form, a customer reply, a booked appointment, or an event from another tool.

  2. Add the steps

Drag in actions on a visual canvas. No code is involved.

  3. Add timing and conditions

Wait for a period or for an event, and branch on what happened.

  4. Publish

A workflow can only be published with steps that can actually run, so a published workflow does what it shows.

Triggers: what can start a workflow

Workflows start from real events in your CRM.

  • A Facebook or Instagram lead form is submitted
  • A Google Ads lead form is submitted
  • A customer replies
  • An appointment is booked, or its status changes
  • A note or task is added, a task is completed, or a task reminder is due
  • An inbound webhook from another system

Actions: what a workflow can do

Each step changes something real in the CRM or sends a message.

  • Send a WhatsApp message
  • Hand the conversation to an AI agent
  • Create or update a contact, and add a note
  • Create or update an opportunity, change its status or move it to another stage
  • Assign the lead to a team member
  • Add, complete or remove a task
  • Call a webhook in another system

Sales follow-up that waits for the customer

Good follow-up reacts to what the lead does. A workflow can pause for a set time, or wait for an event such as the customer replying, with a timeout if they do not. Then it branches: one path if they answered, another if they did not.

  • Wait for a period of time
  • Wait for an event, with a timeout
  • If / else conditions
  • Split leads between paths
  • Move a lead to another workflow, or remove it from this one

AI follow-up

An AI agent can be one of the steps. A workflow can pass the conversation to an agent after a lead arrives or replies, so the next message is written for that lead instead of being the same line for everyone.

A follow-up you could build today

These use only the triggers and actions above.

  • New Meta lead: create the opportunity, assign an owner, send an approved WhatsApp template, wait for a reply, and add a call-back task if none comes
  • Customer replied: hand the conversation to an AI agent and move the deal to the next stage
  • Appointment booked: add a preparation task for the owner and a note on the contact

What you need

  • A MoveUpMark account. Workflows are part of the CRM.
  • A connected WhatsApp Business Platform number, for steps that send WhatsApp messages, and an approved template for any first message.
  • A connected lead source, if you want workflows to start from ad leads.

Questions and answers

Do I need to write code?
No. Workflows are built on a visual canvas by connecting triggers, actions and conditions.
What can start a workflow?
A Meta or Google lead form submission, a customer reply, an appointment being booked or changing status, note and task events, or an inbound webhook.
Can a workflow wait for the customer to reply?
Yes. A step can wait for an event such as a reply, with a timeout, and the workflow continues down a different path depending on which happened.
Can workflows use AI?
Yes. Running an AI agent is an action, so a workflow can hand a conversation to an agent.
Can I connect my own tools?
Yes. An inbound webhook can start a workflow, and a webhook action can send data to another system.
How does a workflow message a brand-new lead on WhatsApp?
With a template approved by Meta. WhatsApp requires an approved template for a first message, and for any message more than 24 hours after the customer last wrote.
